General life rant ;-)

Hello there these are getting further apart I do apologise but I've been occupied with things but hey ho here I am ;-).
Well I would first like to start on this horrible situation in Boston where it turns out that three people have been killed and that includes a child, now everyone who died in that act of terrorism is a very sad loss to someone;-(, but the loss of a child just adds a dimension WTF how the hell can any cause, religion, or wrong doing to yourself your party or your faith warrant or justify such a cowardly faceless act of mindless death,it truly is awful
Having listened to radio reports today I'm not to sure if they are going to find the people responsible ;-( but what I find most disturbing is that they have chosen such an event that is so hard to police!! I mean how the hell do you police a 26.2 mile area and be totally sure that every mile is secure ;-( it's impossible. I also think whoever did this was so malicious that they put it where it would do maximum damage at the finish line, now I've been at my fair share of these events and they are such a great occasion the buzz and just the general atmosphere is amazing so they really caught people off guard very very sad and I hope whoever is responsible for this dies such a horrible death it's untrue.
Anyhoo in other news my friend returned from Australia this week after a turbulent time of indecision and indirection but after emails of advice and just general life advice I think she has finally found a direction she wants to go in which is cool ;-) she has had a rough time in the last few years but after a second visit to oz I think she has finally realised that if you can't be happy 25.000 miles away then you really have to look at what the problem is and not chase imaginary rainbows ;-) sometimes you have to make the rainbow because it sure ain't gonna come looking for you ;-) so it's a good end for a nice person x;-)
Work is becoming even more of a chore now ;-( here are far to many miserable knobs in there now and they are bringing me down with here can't be assed attitude these tools have had It easy for far to long and for want of a better phrase they don't like it up em and I'm gonna shoot from the lip here because as you know I am very shy and don't like to speak my mind ;-) but if it carries on the way it is with the petty childish I'm not talking to you attitude!! I will put them on there asses my tether is finally reached and the day I forget my iPod is the day I can here the bullshit and fists will fly ;-) just saying like
Apart from that life is good just my belief in humans an there intent to want to hurt each other makes me think long and hard but eh I ain't got no complaints ;-)

Holidays and the bad impression ;-)

Hey there bloggers I've been a busy boy the past week or so! So I haven't had time to sit down and blog and to be honest I've been working to the point where I haven't really done anything outstanding, although the holidays are booked for this year which is very exciting ;-) now I know what your thinking "but haven't you been away this year" hell yeah I have but I'm gonna be greedy and squeeze in another two woo hoo ;-).
So where? you ask well, in June where gonna do the costa del sol thing we did last year, because it was such a great place where doing it again (can't wait) and in September we are going back to NYC for a third time but this time we are going with my sister and my niece for our 40ths so that will ad an extra element to it which is all good;-) plus wifey won't just have me to talk to ha ha.
So as you can tell I have a few things to focus on this year which is cool, plus we do have a very important wedding to go to so it is going to be a memorable year,I may have to do a year in pictures ;-) but then again I may spare you we will see.
Anyhoo as I said there's not much this week but I will put a record straight that needs putting straight and its to do with what people call (the white van man) which I might add is what I'm classed as. Now if you don't know what I mean we are classed as speeding,reckless,pie eating red top paper reading abusive overweight Neanderthals that have the intellect of an oxygen starved goldfish having a fit in the desert!!! and do you know what they are right (in many cases) ;-) but just let me put you in the position of my average day it all starts at 8am where you load on all your drops for the day so it's scanners on, keys in the ignition and go, but meanwhile you will have extra jobs added to your day which can add pressure to what sometimes can be a hectic day ( get the picture)
Now add to that most times your on a deadline so there's not much time for faffing about BUT and here's the but we have to deal with traffic, nasty people who are intent on killing us with there lack of road sense (but we get blamed ) then you have got eyes on the road and eyes on the speeding cameras while keeping an eye on the changing road conditions while looking out for pedestrians and crazy drivers the then when you get to your destination you find there's no parking and the designating delivery spaces are taken up by the disabled ;-( who can park anywhere they like but choose our spaces (fury) so we take a chance and park on double yellows in the faint hope that miss traffic warden is having a pee at that precise moment and you will get away with it! but no as you move away its like a Swiss clock, they come round the corner and then it's the end of the world because me being there for 2 minuets is going to start a nuclear war in north Korea (wait hang on ?????) but in all seriousness that can be one drop of 40 so in a final word next time you see mr white van man and his eagerness to get passed get parked and do his job !!! Just remember what he has to do to get your stuff delivered so give him a break eh.

Hey there blogger nerds I have had some feedback on my blogs which is cool but apparently people want to know more about what I think! Apparently religion, people, music, and other general day to day stuff which is all good and I shall do my best! by the way these are my opinions and are neither right or wrong ;-)
Now then
RELIGION mmmm i have never been religious as a rule despite being in a Church of England school and as head chorister in the church choir up till I was about 15, but as I am getting older and I suppose life experience of death and general people behaviour, I do lean towards the fact that there is no God, but I would like to think that life is precious and we do have a soul I'm just not sure it's in the hands of one being? and I find that people who have such faith in a book written 2000 plus years ago by various unknown story tellers quite disturbing!!
Now don't get me wrong I do think the bible has a good set of guidelines to live by but the fact we have had scandal of sex offending priests, vickers, and the people of the church! I do wonder what bible they read from!! that makes them do what they do, to top it off it is covered up, hidden, and denied by the church? which if I was a follower I would lose my faith in these so called trusted people, but no they will follow like the sheep they are (So Dave where Is your faith) mmmm I did have this debate with my mum who was not religious but had faith in whatever she thought was there and my answer was and still is my faith is in myself ;-) if I cross a road ? I am not going to close my eyes and blindly walk across! hoping that my faith in god will make sure I don't get splattered!! noooooo of course not, I am going to look left and right and do it myself ;-) I don't condemn people for having such beliefs, because who am I to do that but if more people had faith in themselves, and there fellow man, shared the love respected and cared for them, then the world would be a better place without conflicting religions battling for supremacy because let's be honest my dads better than your dad eh ;-)
All in all religion was created to keep society in order, an ordered people kept in line with the threat of fire and brimstone and some red Horney dude that sticks a fork in you ass plus some Christian beliefs refuse to believe that dinosaurs existed because apparently Adam an eve where the first beings on the planet! Now if we didn't have bones of these creatures and it was just hear say I would say he'll yeah who are you kidding pffffff ;-) but hang on don't we have the bones in our museums!!! Yes we do but hey ho I'm going to believe a book of story's which have no basis for fact? Yet I'm going to deny the twenty foot carnivore stood in front of me ;-) you decide;-)
All in all my eyes have been opened to science and how that has moulded us into what we are today and my advice for a more liveable world is love each other share the love and generally just be nice believe in yourself and enjoy your time here ;-) to quote a song lyric!
" life's a journey not a destination " that is so true don't plan on getting to old age with a cough and a wheeze! actually live it enjoy it do what you can when you can with a skip and a jump
Right there's my take on religion next time I will cover people now there's a topic for me ;-) I will leave you with three tips for a happier you

Liverpool half marathon and babble

Hello there only me ;-) again been a little while since last time but I have been a bit busy with things, anyhoo as I'm sure you have guessed I have run the Liverpool half marathon on Sunday (17th) courtesy of a friend who had to pull out because of an injury ;-( but instead of wasting it I asked if I could take it on and he kindly let me have it for nothing which was very kind and I will repay him at some point with something ;-) but I digress.
Your probably saying well why did you not just enter it yourself, well to be honest I tried but it sold so fast I missed out, I was a bit disappointed because I had something to prove after taking the knock last year, I did finish it last year but not the way I had planned,so I was on a mission to blow that little memory away and put it to rest, which I did, it wasn't the fastest time in the world but I have to be honest when I started out I just needed to be constant and pace my 40year old ass ha ha which I did, I started to get edgy about the ten mile point because that's where I took the knock last year so when I surpassed that it was a relief ;-) so then I could just concentrate on the last three miles which I did enjoy "sounds like I like pain" but it was a nice day so it was all good ;-), but all in all it was a great day with great people who all I might add did personal best times which is fantastic ;-) I will attach some pictures ;-)
Anyway in other news Why can't insurance company's just talk to each other ;-( without going into great detail I'm changing company's because I got a great deal but now they want proof of my no claims discount or they will cancel the quote?? So after a phone call I told them that my currant insurance won't send me the paperwork until my policy is up which is on the 30th but the new company want it on the 22nd so it's all been a bit why don't you just call them and ask them which they can do but are just being tits about it ;-( ahhhhhhhh I do think there's a twist in the tail of this one, I will keep you informed ;-(
Right just before i leave you with three good things and a wick!!! I will leave you with the comment of the week. While in one of my surgeries we where talking about old songs and songs that get you up and dancing, so after about five minuets we where singing D.I.S.C.O to which ( and I kid you not) one of the girls turned round with the straightest face and said "do you know what I've always wondered what does that song mean what is D.I.S.C.O what does it mean??
The silence was deafening and after giggles and laughter and looking at her like she was joking we realised she wasn't ;-0, we did explain and she went absolutely red with embarrassment ha ha but hey ho there fr the grace of god eh ;-)

Little fat rant Tuesday (nowt serious)

Hey there blogger loggers only me just a mid week rant at something that I've not had a real problem with but I have lost about three stone and now I maintain it through exercise and eating properly.
Now understand that some people's weight gain is medical and cannot be helped which I totally understand and sympathise with, but my rant consists of this I am fed up of people just being fat because of there sheer laziness and bad habits,and a real bug bare for me is fat kids with fat parents that is just another form of child abuse in my eyes and they should have there fat asses prosecuted for being lazy fat child feeders who are slowly killing there kids.
Now before you say Dave that is cruel, bare this in mind the majority of us all have the control over our lives we choose what we do how we live how we look how we generally live our lives day to day,but why oh why do we have unhealthy overweight lazy people who won't help themselves and are quite willing to look a state make themselves ill end up with asthma, diabetes, ulcers, heart conditions just to name a few ailments, I think what really gets on my nerves is the fact that these people actually gloat at how much they eat and drink and its like a trophy for them it makes me wanna slap there fat faces ;-( life is short and for the gargantuan masses its even shorter,I think it's just a waste of a life and it makes you wonder if that's the fastest most intelligent sperm that made it to egg than god know what the other candidates where like;-)
Now I'm not perfect (contrary to popular belief) ;-) but I understand that if I go on a binge of drink fast food sweets chocolates for at least a month, I am gonna put on weight and generally be ill.
Society really needs to wake up we will end up like America!!!, we are always 10/15 years behind our inbread cousins and if you look at the pattern they leave we do follow, for example this claim culture we now have "where there's blame there's a claim" we are now doing that, "fat asses" we are now doing that, get the picture we really need to think for ourselves.
Now then your probably wondering where this rant came from and yes your right I've just seen a programme on morbidly obese people and it Erks me that even with this type of programme showing the problems that will be had human nature will be shocked for at least a good hour then they will reach out there fat fingers for the Big Mac or the bag of chips (if your American reading this that is French fries/potato, not a bag of Doritos ;-)
Anyhoo that is just something that that really makes me mad and instead of three good things and a wick I'm gonna do a three wick things and a wick ;-)

Back in the swing Mother's Day

Hello again been a few days between blogs I do apologise but Im back into the rigmarole of work ;-( but to be honest it's been quite tolerable.
I returned on Monday to find that my steed (my van ) "used for dramatic purposes" ;-) had been given out to someone else, now people who have never experienced this its like someone having a go of you wife then running off with her, let me explain,
I spend a good six or seven hrs in my van I have everything in a place,drink,food,pens clipboard,paperwork, you also get to know all the knocks rattles and the like the seat is set the radio stations are all preset you get the picture it's part of me, so it was like oh man really only to be told I had newer one woo hoo so,alls good in the end I suppose I better just find some new rattles.
As I said earlier its been quite a nice slide back into work, had a nice encounter on Thursday purely by coincidence as I was in a surgery I was approached by a guy with his carer who obviously had learning difficulties just wanting to chat now as you know I will chat with anyone so we had a chat about random things like the weather why he was at the doctors and just babble, but the thing that made my day was as I was leaving he said thank-you all he wanted to do was chat which makes the saying "something little to you can mean so much to someone else" it brightened my day up.
In other news it's mothers day here in England which will be the first without my mum about so I'm braced for all the social media wishing happy mothers day to theres, so if you still have yours wherever you are in the world no matter what what your relationship is with her just make that call or send her a message because believe me when there gone they are gone!!. ;-(
Anyway on a lighter note i have the liverpool half marathon next Sunday the 17th which I've been training for and I've been roped into the snowdonia half marathon four weeks later which I do believe is gonna be a tuffy but I am up for pushing myself so I'm focused on them, anyhoo just a quick ramble there I promise not to leave it to long next time but I shall leave you with the three good things and the wick thing ;-)

Amsterdam antics and general ;-)

Hey there my little blogknockers there has been a few days between this blog and the last, but I have been away for a few days hence the title of the blog ;-).
Now then where to start I've had what can only be described as a 40th birthday week which feels like a month see previous blog for earlier antics ;-)
I've been in Amsterdam the last four days I have been here before about 17 years ago but to be honest it's still the same probably a bit more commercial than i remember back than! it's always had a very multicultural society but feels a bit more cheesy but none the less I do love the random bars and cafe's down back ally's and streets but I have to be honest the bike thing does my head in they have a great system of bike lanes, and the bikes have right away apparently but while I was there they were getting hate beeps of the cars and they do not stick to there paths and use the pavements which I found a bit irritating but as always it's the few that spoil it for the many ;-(.
We have done a lot of the museums and places of interest on this visit! I like to know where I am! and where it came from and we got that by doing a very interesting canal cruise.
We also went to Amsterdam zoo which is frickin amazing you can actually name an animal or insect or monkey and they have it ;-) fantastic, we also did the the sex museum which is sort of cultural ;-) but it was fun and does date back to victorian sex and believe me they where no angels dirty little feckers ha ha but eh were doing it now so thank-you victorian dudes ;-) Amsterdam has a very interesting history but I will not divulge that you can find out for yourself I will chuck a few snaps on here for you to peruse ;-)
Anyhoo my birthday week was amazing what with planes,cars,massages and Amsterdam its been like a 7 day fantasy (for want of a better phrase ha ha.
Right back to normality or what you can describe as a Dave normality ;-) I actually had an epic moment on Saturday with my car insurance and when I say epic I mean I really wanted to touch myself with excitement ;-) right I shall brief you....... My car insurance is due and I was quoted from my insurance £500 which is £60 cheaper than last year so for once it had gone down happy days, but I thought I would just give it a whirl on money supermarket and I was quoted £269 for the same policy except I added protected no claims and it was still £200 quid cheaper so the rule is shop around folks ;-) well it's back to work on Monday so it's back to working with my socially damaged retards and trying to communicate with grunts ropes and pulleys but eh nevermind I will survive I'm sure ;-) right there is loads to tell but this is only a passing blog if you got any questions just ask x now the three good things and a wick thing for today

Little update

Hey hey hey bloggeraptors just thought I would pop my melon in and say hellooooo ;-)
Just preparing for my final part of my birthday gift which is the trip to Amsterdam woo hoo I have been before and enjoyed it, it is a very cosmopolitan place for people who have never been.
I've packed my case (one pair of underpants right) only joking I'm going for three nights so its defiantly two ;-).
Looking at the weather it's pretty similar to us in the uk at the moment so it's not going to be a great shock to the system so it's pretty straight forward,we have got a lot planned for the next three days with museums,places of interest and erm hookers mwhahahaha!,shhhhhhh don't tell everyone ;-)
In other news had a Nice chilled day today (Monday) went into town to get some bits and bobs for said trip, then went for lunch at bistro franc's which is a French restaurant and is fantastic ;-) very quaint and chilled they do a three course lunch for £9.95 so that with a little peroni was just the ticket.
We then wandered down to Tate modern Liverpool where there is an exhibition on glam rock, the music, the art, and the film of that era, now don't get me wrong there is a lot of great stuff that came out of the 70s some of the music was immense and so influential for example,
People scoff at slade,the sweet,and such over the top bands! but there music was and is the basis for so much of the stuff that is around today,and before you say yeah whatever I'm talking there chord structures there lyrics and just the way that there songs had a start middle and end, so hats off;-) BUT and here's the BUT some of the art and video stuff even for me was like WTF really!!! and as for Andy Warhol (asshole more like) I really don't get what all the fuss is about and as you know I'm not going to sit here and jump on a bandwagon of other people who profess to like his stuff when all it is is overhyped ridiculously simplified balls that anyone could do!!?, talk about right place right time (I'm sorry I do digress ) it just infuriates me when I see such garbage portrayed as masterpieces. Now my views are neither right or wrong just my opinion ;-) anyhoo rant over ha ha. Pre birthday day and day ;-)

Hey there blog heads today (Thursday) is my last day in work for ten days!! yes ten whole days get in. Anyhoo today has just been a mass of birthday cards and kisses and hugs of my work friends (well becca for the hugs cos the rest are guys!) and surgery receptionists,which is absolutely lovely, knowing that people think of you enough to go to the trouble of getting you a card and in some cases a present to ;-) fantastic.
There are some nice thoughtful people out there regardless of some of my rants!! I do generalise but I know who my buddy's are and for them I will always be there;-).
It's been a quiet week in work after the announcement of our wages, it's like two years of moaning has suddenly been replaced with harmonious angels singing! ;-) well ok I do exaggerate sometimes! we still have some hardcore terds who are hell bent on destruction? but we live in hope that these troglodytes will succumb to a freak meteor or bus experience;-).
Since my mum passed away last may my dad has been doing more things for himself, like ironing, washing and the likes and is trying to be independent more! but sometimes he really needs ask for help, for example his jeans needed taking up so instead of asking he cut them to 29 (his leg size) and the bottoms started to fray! it's only then he asks if we could take them up? to which we found he had cut them to 28 and he now looks like one of the three stooges classic ;-) I think he has learnt his lesson.
We've been deceived this week by our British weather it's been quite glorious what with the sunshine, and the milder weather only to be dropped these last few days to Baltic nipple wrapping weather! brrrrrrrrrrrr, but the one thing I get out of this is looking forward to spring then our so called British summer ;-) and looking forward to getting out and about for walks and rides, and some running where I'm not looking like an advert for how many clothes can you run in at once ha ha.
Well today is my birthday and boy have I been spoilt this time! let me just run the list just off wifey alone here we go.........
(1) supercar track day (I have already mentioned)
(2) learn to fly a plane (which I did this morning )
(3) full body massage at 12 tomorrow (Saturday)
(4) party tomorrow night with the buddy's

Fantastic weekend ;-) and work catchup thing x

Hey there blogger loggers ;-) as I'm sure you remember I had a super car track day which involved driving a Ferrari and an Aston Martin which was absolutely amazing, such a thrill which can only be produced by such vehicles.
We were told in the brief that if we listened to the race instructors! we would get the most of the cars and believe me I did ;-) they were very good and trusting, but I'm sure they know as soon as they see your driving they know how far to push you ;-), I had a ball so much so wifey could not get a proper picture because by the time she pressed the shutter I was passed ha ha fantastic ;-).
I did get two official pictures of my day which I will post copy's of them on here, all in all I would recommend it to anyone who wants to gift there man or son ;-) you don't even have to be into cars it's just a great day ;-)
Anyhoo I have a catch up on our work related pay squabble we have had, and to be honest I'm quite happy with my lot but as per usual there are the hardcore people who would find fault with perfection, now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that our place is perfect but what they have done is exactly what they wanted in fact for the higher echelons of our workforce they are now better off than our a brothers from other depots £7.78 an hr which is parity but what they get which our brothers don't is use of the company vehicle ( whoa I've used vehicle in the same blog twice ;-) ) anyhoo I digress what I'm trying to say is you could give these people a gold bar! they would look at you gold bar and although there the same they would moan that your gold bar is more goldier (if that's a word I don't think it is because iPad never made a suggestion ha ha)than there's.
In other news I was asked today by someone I haven't seen for a few years how I lost my weight which the simple answer is eating properly and exercise (simples) to which she replied ah it's not to bad when your young wait till you hit 40 then it gets harder which made me chuckle because anyone reading this knows I am 40 pretty soon, so when I said well I am 40 she was shocked and said no way I had you down as early to mid 30s woooo hooooo damn right mutha fu#€rs ha ha my ego stroked big time ;-) right I think I've harped on enough on here just a little insight into the weekend and stuff right three good things and a wick thing

Random babble

Well hellooooo there quite an eventful few days so I thought I would have another ramble;-)
It's Pancake Tuesday here in blighty and I've got to be honest Why we celebrate lent with pancakes is way beyond me? I'm sure there are more worthwhile things we could mark maybe a "lets not get any fatter cos we eat pancakes all year round day??"saying that though I do like em so I will suffer it ;-)
I was in one of my surgerys this week (Monday) and it all kicked of when a patient was banging on the office door asking for help when we got to her she said that one of the drs needed help so me thinking that he was being assaulted by a patient or had collapsed either way I was ready to kick ass or save ass but when I got there with about 4 receptionists in tow it turned out that dr was resuscitating a guy who had gone in feeling unwell and then stopped breathing wooooo pretty heavy panicky stuff I can tell ya but the ambulance came and they got him back which is good but it just highlights at any moment things happen so enjoy yourself and live a little ;-) sorry to get heavy there but it's a lesson in LIVING ;-)
Anyway on a lighter note,Not long back in from a run and believe me it was cold I could not feel my nose it was paining from the Icy chill that was head on ;-( so I was running with one gloved hand over my nose must have looked silly but owwwwww it was painful!!! but as I got accustomed to the cold and 3 miles in I warmed up ;-) I did a different route this time taking in our local promenade which was quiet apart from the odd dog poo and dogger ;-) but I got no offers ha ha to be honest I haven't got a dog ;-) .
I think we are due some news next week in work regarding a long over due dispute with the wage structure so fingers crossed it will be good news ;-) they have called a meeting for Monday so we will see but not much to report so I shall bid you toodles but I will leave you with three good things and a wick

Hey there my little bloggeraptors well I can honestly say I'm glad it's The weekend ;-) and I've got to be honest I'm getting a pretty tired of saying that, I think I defiantly need to move from work and pretty quick!, you spend three quarters of your life in work so I think you should at least be satisfied most of the time, I do quite enjoy what do and mixing with the people.
On my round it actually makes up a good 70% of my day which is a godsend because if I spent more time at base! it would be dangerous scenario which would end up with casualties,ha ha ;-) anyhoo enough about hire a knobhead.
I Received an email the other day from a charity that I raised money for which actually made me go mmmmmm that sounds great and a challenge for my old ass,
It was a 250 mile bike ride across ? Now wait for it Vietnam and south east Asia, but the only drawback is I would have to raise £3500 to qualify and to be honest I don't think I could be assed plus I know I would end up being kidnapped by a gang of extremist pottery makers who would hold me ransom for Beatles albums and mars bars so erm sod that ;-).
Had a nice six mile or so walk today I know I know it was raining!! but it's so refreshing just to walk with yer pod on and forget about the crazy world that's whizzing past at a rate of knots,
I do like to people watch and I've got to be honest I do form an opinion which I know is wrong but I do believe I'm great at it and would like to think I'm right a lot of the time at least ;-)
Anyhoo apart from the occasional rant I'm finding myself more at peace sounds hippyish eh but I can quite easily get lost in my music ;-), I tend to just drift off to places ;-) I won't divulge where but I like it ;-) I'm becoming quite solitary in my ways to I do prefer my own company at times and before any of my friends read this and say "you have always enjoyed Dave time" ha ha you little perves you know what I mean.
but the further away I am from the human species the better there's a lot of vulnerable people who seek solace in approval from social networks and the like its an unstable environment and I steer clear ;-) after all I am Dave but and I will stress, I am always here for my friends ;-)

Coffee and tea day with a rant

Howdy bloggerites well today has been stop start ,which involved a costa coffee stop and a natter, and a cuppa tea stop and a natter;-) which was nice but ended up in a soggy wet Manchester which some of you know there nothing unusual about a wet Manchester ha ha.
Anyway in-between tea and coffee, I've done my usual day of saving lives ;-) which involves driving around listening to the radio and dropping off medical supplies which obviously means saving lives (honestly it does ha ha) but while saving the world yes we have moved on i enjoy listening to the radio where they were debating gay marriage and of course you would expect me to have an opinion on that and guess what I do.
I'm fed up of people always using and quoting the bible on the do's and dont's of how we should live our lives, now as far as I'm concerned if two people love each other and want to spend there lives together than why can't they be married. Now this may open a can of worms with people but if your basis on why they shouldn't get married (if there same sex) is based upon a book that was written over 2000 years ago and listen to so called vicars and priests that say thou shalt not this and thou shalt not that who I might add have abused children and people for century's and covered it up in the name of religion!!! It's hardly a basis to stop people living is it ?, now on a very personal note I find people who follow the said book (the bible for anyone who's wondering) very narrow minded and weak and stuck in a mind wash of outdated rules. I do think it has good moral guidelines don't steal, don't lie, and generally be nice, which is good and should be taught to kids ,but it is so adaptable to what ever subject you want it to be whether racist or homophobic they will always find an argument against something, so the bottom line is to these sheep people focus on the love of two people not what I think they focus on which is the SEX side of it which I think that's the real bug bear of these troglodytes. Phew well there you go that's my take and I will debate that with anyone who wants to ;-) x
On a different lighter note had a catch up with a buddy today I don't see that often so that was nice, but I've still got to entertain the knob heads in work who just want to moan and I do believe that one of these days I'm totally gonna spark em right out in the name of the bible that says thou shalt not put up with crap from knobs (damn that bible!!! even I'm using it ) mwhahahahaha only joking ;-) it actually says pricks ;-)

Weekend warble

Well well well mr sunshine you were very welcome today (saturday) makes the world seem like a decent place after all, we decided to go for a walk to one of our local parks (festival park) it was originally the site of the international garden festival of Liverpool back in 1984.
It was left to ruin the past twenty plus years, but has now been restored with its Chinese,Japanese,gardens absolutely lovely on a sunny day I do recommend;-)
Anyhoo back in now and just relaxing before me and wifey go and see John Shuttleworth tonight at the liverpool playhouse which has been years in the making, i always seemed to miss out on tickets but not this time ;-)
Well it's Sunday now and the john Shuttleworth gig last night was fantastic he's so ramblingly random it does take a certain humour to get him ;-) unlike the couple who sat next to us who got up quarter of the way through ha ha, and wifey heard him say I don't get it what are they laughing at!!! but to be honest out of 900 people he was the only one ;-) says it all really plus he did look a bit of a knob ;-)
I've had a relaxing Sunday morning watched my iPad in bed then sat in my massage chair listening to some joe satriani and for those who don't know who he is an instrumental guitar player who can play everything from blues to heavy fast rock to chilled out cosmic tunes perfect (for me) to just chill.
I've not really made a decision on the job conundrum but to be honest I think I'm going to let them decide what to do either way I'm not to bothered what will be will be I just want an easy life dispersed with flashes of fun ;-)

Run of the mill kinda day

Hey there blogalites it's been a quiet few days to be honest nothing out of the ordinary to report on !! its been a busy few days in work ;-) but I am still surrounded by frickin retarded idiots who can do nothing more than moan and gossip about anything and everyone, now Im not a violent person but let's just say I'm gonna go and kick crap out of my punchbag and imagine there's a few faces on it.
Anyhoo I'm still in a good place which is all good I've been offered a new role in work which I am yet to decide on but I will have a think over the weekend and make a decision. I am a man of routine and always have been it probably would mean a new routine but its quite a change from doing it for the last 7 years, we will see.
I can actually show the kind of camaraderie I have built up with the people on my round,today I was given a certificate of bravery usually given to the kids in the surgery, I was awarded it for my diabetes success ha ha the cheeky buggers I will attach a picture by the way she calls me daffid ;-) x
In other news a friend of mine has found out she is pregnant today so I wish them all the best I will mention no names but if there reading this which they will;-) its wink from daveyboy.

Review day

Well here we are again blog heads ;-) Monday again how quick are these coming round?
Anyhoo right where to start!!! Well that party on Saturday I mentioned remember!! Well had an absolute ball good chat good brews and a stretch Armstrong willy, ha ha I know what your thinking really a stretchy willy?? Well erm yes it's amazing how many pictures you can get with something so small ha ha, I must say though there were a few people there I had never met before which is cool because I do like to meet new people, but as the night drew on I learnt a few things that made me yes ME! go "really" are you sure you should be doing that and wow should you be telling us that ha ha,
Well I'm not gonna leave you in suspense we basically found out that one of the dudes that I was talking to who I might add was very very drunk well his missus who was drunk also, decided to inform us that he her boyfriend came in one night from the pub and decided to relieve himself on the cockatiel and I don't mean have a wee ha ha yup the other WTF who gets the urge to come in drunk then then take a liking to the bird in the cage ha ha we were laughing for ages on that one but what really freaked us out the said fella, took a liking to the stretchy will to the point where I actually moved slowly into the Iiving room ;-) ha ha. But overall it was a fun night .
I've actually just got back in from a very late appointment at the doctors to see my diabetic nurse which if anyone who knows me reading this will know I've worked my ass off to stay on top of this disease anyhoo seemingly and this is official and I have the prescription to prove it but hear we go "I am officially amazing," said in so many words by Bernadette my nurse "AMAZING" now who am I to argue with that diagnosis ha ha I will take that statement and run ;-)
Right this might come as a bit of a shock for wifey who reads this but I was randomly perusing emigration websites just to see what the process is you know I do like to do things off the cuff but I always did fancy another place but we will see ;-) right time for three good things and a gets on my wick thing

Saturday in day ;-)

Well I spoke to soon about the snow thing bloggers damn it ;-( it came back quicker than a hooker with change of a fiver, on the plus side though it looks like its gonna be gone just as quick ;-) happy days.
I finally got my wedding ring adjusted this past week and I picked it up on Friday all polished and new looking, I had to look twice to see if it was mine, it looks absolutely amazing which pleased wifey, she now feels married again ha ha so it's back to knocking back all those women ;-) I know I know but I just had to live with it! it was a nightmare but they will get over it mwhahahaha ;-).
Anyhoo back to reality we were rudely awoken this morning about 3am with the house alarm going off its head!! which is very unusual? so it was a quick dash to the bat cave ( the wardrobe) to grab my trusty baseball bat and mag light, wandered downstairs checked the alarm and it was telling me it was the garage so I thought sod that!!! and just looked out the window, now your thinking but what if they where in there to which I reply "well it had been snowing and there where no footprints to the garage" ;-) yes your are right I was brought up on Colombo episodes, and the bill ;-)
Anyhoo looks like its gonna be a Saturday afternoon in, which normally involves DVDs, food ,and the Internet!! Mmmm sounds wrong that doesn't it ;-) but I do mean buying stuff not erm you know ;-) cheekys.
Well I've cleared the snow of the cars and I've cleared the path just so when it ices up its not a nightmare in the morning ,I did have to wander over in the snow to the shop to get some supply's oh and to get some baking gear because I'm gonna be making some bread ;-) I do that now and again it's kinda therapeutic to beat the crap out the dough;-) and just imagine someone's face one it mwhahahaha! Only joking I do have a punch bag in the garage for that and believe me it gets used ;-)
Apart from the crap weather I think I've been at my most content for a long time, I can't quite put my finger on it but I think I'm looking forward to it getting warmer and of course i cut free some loose wood this year like I said I would ;-) its amazing how people can bring you down to a level that agitates but hey ho ;-) all is good in the head of Dave I mean I'm now down to just the four voices ;-)

Busy old day

Well hello there on this Thursday, I have to start by saying today in Liverpool we reached a barmy 5 degrees yes you heard right a barmy 5 degrees, I almost took my jacket off!! well almost! I will attach a picture of the proof ;-)
Today in work I've had to juggle things about a bit as I had to give my routine blood sample for my diabetes review which is Monday;-( so as per usual I have my little push further than normal before Monday, you know extra runs and the like I know it's all fine but until I get took off the meds it's my main objective.
Anyhoo after getting back on track today I bumped into someone I haven't seen for a few weeks and after a brief catchup she said oh by the way dave my car died!, to which I replied oh man what happened ? apparently for the last five years she never had it serviced or looked at!! never checked the oil, water and the like, so I said wasn't it making strange noises? To which she replies yes the brakes squeaked and the engine was rattling and banging, "bare in mind this car is only five years old" so I said well didn't you think that was strange!! And she said yeah but I just turned the radio up, WTF really!!!!!! and that my friends is no lie.
She said servicing cost £100, so I said yeah but your new engine is costing £700 your servicing would have cost £500 in the last five years you would have saved £200. Now there is a lesson to be learnt from this but I will let you decide your education ;-).
I can honestly say I've given blood and guts today actually given blood! and belly laughed at Lisa's misfortune cruel but really come on ;-)
I'm just looking at this years Half marathon and pondering wether I can be arsed at sponsorship or just run it?, I do have something to prove this year after last years half injured effort but to be fair it's the actual collecting of the money that's the hard part so I will have a think about that! but feel free to join my ass or if you know of a just course I will sacrifice my ass for a worthy cause ;-)

Uplifting day ;-)

Good day to you bloggers ;-) I will start with a preface to my next little ramble,I'm not getting spiritual with you or finding god or the likes BUT ;-)
While driving in this morning the sun was just rising over a factory I work close to, it was rising over a big cloud of whatever it was pumping out, but it was a glorious big red sun just popping over the haze, it left what could only be described as red halo of light all around the factory which made something so hideous actually look mystical, which made me think people spend so much time worrying about day to day things , and things that may never happen or are so entwined in other people's lives that they forget to live there own,and even when I'm long gone that sun will still pop up in that place and still look as glorious
So the the overall thought of the day is enjoy what you have now! appreciate what you do now! and look up a bit more there's so many nice things happening around you, blink and you will miss it ( gay I know but true )
Anyhoo it's been a lovely bright sunny day today makes a change from the last five days so let's hope it's the last of the snow ;-). For a change work is quiet and when I mean quiet I mean the usual moaners have been quiet which is good, because it does get Boring listening to all the same old crap!! so my ears have been chilling ha ;-)
One of my aims for this new year was to tex and stay in touch with people I don't see regularly which tbh hasn't happened I do send the odd joke out but as for conversations it ain't happened but and here's the real but TEX ME ha ha I'm sure the stream flows both ways ;-) anyhoo that's enough from my noggin for today ;-) now three good things and one wick

Chilled n chilly weekend

Well this weekend really has lived up to the weatherman's predictions its been cold brrrrrrrr ;-( but I've tried to blend in with it by being chilled;-) (see what I did there ) ;-).
I've spent most of this weekend playing my guitar and sat on my ass which is all good ;-) i don't wanna be going outside and breaking a hip now ha ha ;-).Being so stationary this weekend I've had time to actually look at people's behaviour ;-) you know a little bit of research on my fellow man and erm just by the power of tex,twitter,and a glimpse of wifey's social media I have really come to the conclusion (which tbh I've known for a while) that society really is messed up, sheep like and illiterate, and they try oh so hard to be funny and original but just come across as thick and uninventive, I do get a buzz when somebody actually makes me chuckle which at the moment isn't often on these ways of communication.
That's why this blogging really has let me open up and just say what I feel even if no one reads it I'm not hounded by likes, comments or blasts from people who disagree ;-), plus I like the thought of a complete stranger in a far off land stumbling across my blog and having one of two thoughts
Either "wow this fellas a tit " or "yup I've got to agree" ha ha either way that gives me a little buzz.
Sounds like I'm being a bit of a grump! But I'm not its just my thoughts! and as I've said "ain't no one bringing me down" ;-) xx.In other news I got kitted out for my buddy's wedding today, which is happening in may which is gonna be an amazing and a laid back affair just a bit of doubt about the footwear but its all in hand it will all be good ;-)

Snowy ass sliding Friday

Wow these weeks are just flying by now! It sounds cliche but they really are !! Well it was another early start for me today ;-( 0500 awake time to what can only be described as a whitewash of the powder variety, and I don't mean cocain I mean bloody SNOW yup SNOW a couriers nightmare.
Well as predicted it was a joke, in this country we don't deal with these situations very well were always one step behind the rest so for most of the day I've been sliding my van around in the snow.now most people have been giving me advice and telling me to take care but to be very honest I know what I'm doing its all the other dingbats on the road I have to look out for because they are all tools FACT ;-).
Well enough of that eh I received a tex message about 1245am this morning but I didn't get it because I was in nod land,but when I picked it up at 5am this morning it was the great news that a friend of mine had had a baby,;-) which was a bit of a shock as it was two weeks early but all is good and he weighed in at 5lb 6oz,but he was nameless because of the suddenness, ha ha but all is good ;-) I think I'm gonna throw in a suggestion of "Dave the third" but I'm not sure that's gonna work ;-)
I also received my cd I ordered off play ;-) I got an absolute bargain, joe bonamassa's latest album for £4.99 when other sites have it for 9/10 quid so bonus for davey,
In other news I've been doing a three good things that happened to me today courtesy of some friends, but just to be a touch different I'm gonna do a three good things as a positive and as a ying to the yang I'm gonna do a one thing that gets on my wick ;-)

Wintery Wednesday

Well it's official amigos its frickin freezing brrrrrrrr but you all knew that didn't you xx
Anyhoo had a quite start to the day today with wifey being in work early I had breakfast on my own which was porridge and tea with my iPad and some vintage wrestling! (What's that I hear you say vintage wrestling at 7am)? Yup and porridge ;-) well I was on my own so the morning was my oyster ;-)
Anyway whilst partying like its 1992 this morning, I had time to wish my buddy a happy 30th birthday all the way in Australia ! Well it could have been today ,or there yesterday or there tomorrow who knows its a strange place ha ha , but I did find out that she was celebrating it with a bring a chair and booze party which was a 15th a 30th and a 50th celebration which sounded great at 7 in the morning and -2 !!!! Envious me no no no not one bit ( said through gritted teeth ) ;-)
Well I genuinely haven't stopped today from 8 until 5 I've been saving lives! Well in my own unique way ;-). I was asked today by a receptionist why am I always so cheery when I go into the surgery? to which I replied well why should I inflict my mood on other people life is way to short so just smile ;-) to which she replied god I wish I had some of your erm thingy !!!! Which to me is a feed line and I replied we'll if you've got 10 minuets and a stockroom you can !!!! Fortunately they all laughed she want red and all was good ;-) but when I got back to the van I thought oooooooo 1970s toilet humour isn't always appropriate in todays pc climate ha ha ( got away with that one ) I am a cheeky bugger sometimes but I dont mean it ;-) xx

Monday malarky

Well hello there just my little ass again ;-)
It's been a cold wet one today ;-( but I'm not really complaining because we have avoided the snow when it looks like the rest of the country has been whitewashed so high five.
Well I received a tex message this morning at 0225 which was my friend Carly from Australia she still hasn't got her head round the time difference thing ha ha but I will forgive her as I wasn't the only person who got one,she was replying to one I sent the day before but at a humane time of the day of course ;-)
Well today has had a plethora of ups and downs! On the ups I was told today that I look like I'm in my early thirties as a pose to being forty next month which was a nice little ego boost for a wet Monday woo hoo ;-),on the downside though more than one person has told me I looked washed out and tired ! Ha ha so you know rough with the smooth, but to be honest the girl who gave me the compliment had a white stick and a Labrador but I'm taking the compliment.
I was looking at some of my holiday pictures from last year today which got me in the mood for some sunshine and swimming pool action and basically just putting on some shorts and tea shirts cos at the moment my ass is freezing
In other news today I seems to be back to working with frickin retards again all moaning but as I've said no one is bringing me down to there level so tomorrow it will be an iPod day so I don't have to listen to here pointless inane ramblings ;-)
I'm currently on a few job sites looking for that killer job that will get me out and into something that pays a bit more, not fortunes just a touch more I'm not a greedy person.
But I defiantly need a big change of scenery,anyhoo not a great deal to say but enough for a little ramble I shall leave you with a little thing a few of my buddy's are doing which is called three good things that happened today so keep smiling stay happy and be good ;-) xx

Happy Friday bloggers well its been an eventful few days have finally realised that the social media known as Facebook which I have to be honest I think is an awesome application for keeping in touch with my buddies from all over the world,has finally grabbed me choked me and called me an asshole ;-(
It's very strange I try to use it to have a bit of fun,vent my spleen and generally share things
( I know what your thinking but isn't that what it's for ?) yes it is! but some people seem to think that they own you or get offended if deleted or are overlooked and I'm a bit fed up of being ranted at being called an asshole and these people I have known for years.
It seems that no matter how long you have known someone apparently fb is the media that defines your friendship but hey ho it's a good job I have plenty of real friends ha ha
Anyhoo as I've said in past blogs I'm in a good place and will not be brought down by people with issues ;-) I'm a lucky boy with a good life and good friends ;-) x everything else is just matrix ;-)
My song thing is quite tough to be honest I write down lyrics and at the time I read it and go mmmm that's a great line then ten minuets later I'm thinking fuck me that sounds stupid ;-)

Wednesday warble

Hello there ;-) well what a day today woke up to freezing fog and an iced up van!!! Now that gift of deicer I got at christmas that I scoffed at may just come in handy haha lesson learned there me thinks ;-)
Anyway apart from the cold start its been quite a quiet day, traffic has been immense since all the schools went back such a difference when there off but hey ho ;-)
I seem to think a lot more these days you know more contemplative about the now and the future type thing. I think a lot of that stemmed from the loss of my mum back in may! because it was so sudden,it put a few things into perspective.
I still have my moments ;-( but tend not to let day to day balls get me down what will be will be,but try n do as much as I can and have some plans to achieve these things ;-).
There's a great lyric from a guy called kid rock and the chorus goes "roll on roll on roller-coaster were one day older and one step closer there's mountains to climb were on borrowed time" and it's true we don't own the time we don't decide it but we can live it so think on xx;-)
In other news today I walked into a debate about diabetes which is a subject I'm aware of , basically some guy was sat there scoffing about how he eats what he likes and he doesn't care about the consequences and the next time he goes to see his nurse he reckons he will be put on insulin! and he seemed quite proud of this fact !!!!!!I couldn't resist to tell him the horrors and I've got to be honest he actually went a shade of grey I thought he was having a hypo ha ha but he hadn't phew;-) he actually hadnt realised the logistics of insulin ;-( so much so he was then picking my brains about my regime as I'm happy to help anyone if they ask so hopefully he will see the light ;-) ( my good deed for the day ) right I'm just gonna have a cuppa and surf for a new job so I will bid you toodles

Wotcha well its 1445 and I'm currently sitting in the royal hospital feeling quite chilled I'm having a few of these moments recently!! but I'm having a sneaky little tea (see attached picture) ha ha.
It's been quite a nice day to be honest not as hectic as I thought it was going to be so all in all no complaints;-).
I've really stepped up my job search now as this place I work at is just trundling along just feels crap no positives no feedback !!!!!! But eh it pays my mortgage so better the devil You know ;-).
Im on my own tonight as my other half is working late so it's a pasta tea and carry on with my handwriting improving thingy ;-) I'm sure it is getting better.Plus I was in the van earlier trying to think up some lyrics for my song that's on my bucket list that I have to write and erm well inspirational ideas where at a premium;-) but sat here now with a tea in a hospital is giving me a few ideas !!!!
Has anybody got anything to rhyme with gastroenterology or densitometry ???? Ok well maybe not so inspirational then Mwhahahaha ! Well onward and upward bye for now ;-)

Sunday ramble

Well hello there just thought I would check in ;-) ,its been a quiet weekend to be honest but I have been practicing my handwriting skills as I have mentioned in a previous blog ;-).
I've got to say though because I don't write everyday in work I think it's a bit harder but I am persisting with repetition because as with most things practice makes perfect ha ha or at least better in my eyes ;-)
Anyhoo as I said not much doing this weekend but I am persisting in making my self a better person so I will leave and carry on my quest .....ps has anybody got a short cut woo hoo only joking I will do it xx laters taters xx

Friday high day

Hello there IT'S FRIDAYYYYY!!!!!!!! Well it is we're I am it may still be Thursday where you are or it could be saturday apologies ;-).
Well I don't know if you remember me talking about the big kick off in work with two guys? but it has now turned into a bullying case oops ;-) but if any of you out there believe in Kama then you will love this next bit!!! The guy who was doing the bullying today was reversing a van out of the car park had a foot slip and ripped the front off said van ;-)but the cherry on the cake was he ripped it into a brand new van we have just purchased mwhahhaahha Kama indeed played a big part me thinks ;-)
Anyhoo I've bought a lined notebook and rollerball pens today,in a bid to improve my handwriting which I do believe is atrocious ha ha so YouTube and a notepad is in order,
It's just one of my self improving things because believe me there's a shed load I can improve on so it's my start ;-) plus on my bucket list is to write a song so I think I would like to write it with nice writing ;-)
Not much to report today just a normal day except a certain friend of mine wrote In the dirt on my van Dirty Dave ;-) to which when I stopped today! some old guy in a car decided to shout hey are you Dave to which I said confused ? erm yes why? to which he replied hello dirty Dave then the penny dropped ha ha we had a natter and I walked away chuckling ;-) just one of those little things that makes you smile ;-) right I'm off laters amigos Dave rockin xx

Boring day but enlightening ;-)

Hey hey hey I've noticed that people are actually reading theses which is cool so hello there ;-)
It's quite mild here in England for January! been in work today and i left my coat in the van and believe it or not I broke a sweat yup that's right a sweat in January ;-) strange but eh I'm not complaining ;-) were normally up to our ass in snow so it's all good ;-) x
Anyhoo quite a slow day today ;-( tbh very boring and if I'm gonna be totally honest I hate the people I work with now it is defiantly time to move you spend three quarters of you life in work you should at least be happy in there ;-)
Although i did finish at 4pm today which was strange so I just came home and had a nap ;-) woo hoo good times ;-) I'm currently on various job sites looking for inspiration and I'm seeing a few Little things that make me go mmmmm if only I was younger and less tied down ha ha but eh I can't be nipping off to Australia and Canada to do adventure things I have responsibilities ;-) but I can dream eh ha ha we will see ;-) just need a change if scenery for a new year I've got a lot planned ;-) right I'm off I will bid you toddles x Dave x

Back in work

Hey hey hey only me again 😁back to the grind of accumulating holiday vouchers and beer vouchers aka (back in work) 😁
Bit of a grey day but its not going to dampen my spirits although it is dampening my underwear💦 😜
It's been quite amusing listening to people going on about losing weight,joining gyms,and not eating crap 😁. I have given them a few tips but I ain't gonna preach if your focused enough you will do it 😁 but you've got to want to 👍
Big kick off in work today lot of swearing and shouting for no end as far as I can see but eh who cares eh, also in other news i had a convo with someone who lost there mum about the same time as me so had a little chat and she got some things of her chest 👍amazing what can be achieved with talking its as if we should do it more ( tongue firmly in cheek ) it's a lost art

Tuesday catch up 😁

Evening folks 😁well were almost back to normal services after quite an enjoyable christmas and new year, I hope you all got what you asked for. Without sounding cheesy I don't really want for much just to be happy and healthy. I honestly think that if you have your health you are blessed 😁👍.
Anyhow I digress had a nice chilled day with wifey, went to see my dad and my bro,drank tea and watched crap ha ha.but I have been active to 👍went for a 3mile walk this morning,and now just got in from a five mile run trying out my new garmin GPS watch woo hoo nice 😁
But eh it's back to the grind tomorrow surrounded by moaning gits who don't actually realise that it ain't that bad and they do have a job ✊💦but ain't no one bringing me down in 2013 xx bye for now Dave xx
